Recent forecasts issued by the World Trade Organization indicate that Middle Eastern countries will significantly benefit from the commodity vacuum created by the trade war between the United States and China.

According to the World Trade Organization, Middle Eastern exports to the United States could rise by 22 percent in 2025. Meanwhile, the region's markets will face further pressure from Chinese goods previously destined for the United States, potentially increasing Chinese imports by about 6 percent this year. Projections indicate that Chinese exports to the United States will decline by 77 percent in 2025. Chinese imports to all other markets are also expected to increase, with the rest of North American markets growing by 25 percent.
